Massage Therapy + Shockwave Therapy NOTE: If you are currently pregnant, have a current or previous cancer diagnosis, or have a pacemaker, Shockwave Therapy may not be appropriate for you. Please contact the clinic before booking or schedule a regular massage therapy appointment. This appointment combines therapeutic massage + Shockwave Therapy (SWT) when clinically appropriate, based on your assessment findings and treatment goals. Massage therapy may include deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular techniques to address muscular tension, soft tissue restrictions, and movement dysfunction. Shockwave Therapy may be recommended as an adjunct modality to support pain reduction, improved mobility, circulation, and tissue healing in chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Please note that Shockwave Therapy is provided as a separate self-pay service. SWT is not covered by massage therapy insurance benefits, cannot be billed as massage therapy, and will be charged separately if utilized during your appointment. This service may be beneficial for chronic or persistent conditions, repetitive strain injuries, sports-related injuries, tendinopathies, and clients who have not achieved their desired results with massage therapy alone. Your therapist has completed AIRPWT Level 1 Shockwave Therapy Certification and has received specialized training in the safe and effective application of Shockwave Therapy for musculoskeletal conditions.
